Creating Isometric Views

All right. So in the project browser, we're going to expand plumbing. We're going to go over to isometrics. And we're going to start with the plumbing isometric all. So we'll double click that view. And you can see it'll probably start off in a view like this. And if you hold shift and use your middle mouse wheel, you can kind of orbit around and get a good looking view. So what I'm trying to do here is I'm trying to get an isometric view that shows the water in the sanitary in a manner that kind of shows all the fixtures, shows all the piping. So I kind of want to like, you know, this area is not that important. So I want to kind of zoom into this area.

If I use my middle mouse wheel, I can pan around and I would just want to make sure I can kind of see everything. Another trick you can do is if you click on one of the pieces or elements in the model and then hold shift, it'll rotate about that element that you have selected. So this is helpful when I'm really trying to get a nice view. You can see like, here's my clean out right here. If I had it like this, it might be blocked with the vent piping.

So I'd probably wanna make sure it's something like this. And I think that looks pretty good. You can kind of play around with the tilt right here, but I think something like this is gonna look good for all the views. And so once we have the orientation and the angle kind of set, what we wanna do is we wanna lock this view. So I'm gonna go down here to this little house with the padlock and click it, and we're gonna save orientation and lock view.

The reason we have to do this is because when we place tags, we need to lock the view. So now that we've locked the view, we wanna get this orientation for the other view. So if I open up the DWV isometric, you can see that it's not the same orientation. And so what I need to do is I like to just duplicate my isometric all and then just simply apply the view template called Psheet3DIsometric. So we could also just eyeball it if we wanted to.

We could eyeball something like this. And if you want different orientations, that's totally fine. Like you can just make the orientation something like this, and that is totally fine. And just use this for one sheet. And then for your water, you could do something like this where maybe you want a different orientation to show the water piping because it's a little different. So something like this might work. So you can totally do that. But what I'm trying to show you guys is to be consistent. And so we're going to try to make them all have the same orientation as this one right here. All right. So how do I do that? Well, I'm gonna go ahead and copy this name right here. We're gonna start with the drain waste vat. So I'm just gonna slowly click into that and copy this text. So I'm gonna select it, right click, copy.

And once I have the text selected, I can select it and hit delete, and it will just delete that view. Now, when I want to duplicate a view, I want to duplicate this view because I want the same orientation. I right click on it, I duplicate the view, and we don't have any detailing, so we're just going to hit duplicate. And now I've made a copy of this view that's already locked, so I can't accidentally rotate it. So this looks good.

And now I'm going to rename this by right clicking, click on Rename, and we'll just Control plus V or paste the plumbing isometric DWV. And now we have to set the correct view template. So we're going to go over here to View Templates. We'll click on that, and we'll just simply select the next one, the DWV one, and click Okay. And you can see it automatically removes the water piping. And we've basically just made a copy of our plumbing isometric awl, and we've created a drain waste vent isometric. So now we can do the same thing. We could even start with the drain waste vent. So I'm going to copy this text right here. So we'll copy it and then we'll delete the water.

Right click and delete it. And then we'll make a copy of the drain waste vent this time just so I could show you a little different. We're going to do duplicate view, duplicate. And now we have this copy. We'll rename it. Right click, rename, control V. Now it's water, but it's not water because we have to change the view template. Let's change the view template to plumbing P sheet three d isometric water and click Okay. And look at that. And now we have all the views that are oriented exactly the same, and that's what we want.

So this is looking great. So the next thing we wanna do is we wanna tag all of our fixtures. So usually I'm gonna go into the isometric all and double click and let's go ahead and tag all the fixtures all at once. We're gonna go to annotate, tag all. We'll go down to plumbing fixture tags. We've already have the correct tag, but I'll just click down. You could do transparent ones or opaque. Typically transparent works a little better. I'm just going to click Okay. And you can see Revit has automatically tagged all of the fixtures.

Now what we might wanna do is we might wanna move these tags away from the fixture so they look a little nicer. So I can click a tag, use this little grip right here, we could just put it right there. Do the same thing here, click on this, and we could kind of just put it above some piping right here. That's probably okay. If we want, we can also use leader tags. So if I click on this tag right here, if I want to add a leader, I can click this button right here and you can see it will add a leader. And what I always recommend is we'll change this to free end and that allows you to grip the end of it. And then you can move your tag out here to some white space. And maybe we want it to look something like this. Look at that.

That looks pretty good. Another cool thing you can do is if we delete this tag, we're just gonna select it and hit delete. We can also add to this tag if it's the same fixture. Since these two are the same, let's just add another leader here. So we'll click on this tag and we'll add or remove a host. We're gonna add this host right here. You can see a new leader appears. I'm gonna hit escape. Hit escape another time, and then we'll click on this leader. And then I'm just going to take this little drag point and put it right to that one. And then we'll move this up to here. And so now you can see we use one tag for two lavatories. So that looks a little cleaner. For the urinal, we can just kind of move that over here. Something like this looks good.

You can also use your arrow keys if you have a tag selected. So I can just arrow over to get into a good spot. Sometimes it's a little easier. For the floor drain, let's use our technique that we used before. I'm just going to delete this one. And then let's just move this tag over. Let's do it right there maybe. And then we'll select it. We're gonna use a leader line. And then we wanna change this to free end.

And then we're just gonna drag this one straight over. We'll add a host. Oh, that is our host. So that's a good thing. So what we wanna do, if you want to see what host it's using for the tag, you can always say select host and it will highlight the host that it's using. So it's actually using this one. So even though I'm pointing to this one, it's actually using this one. So you probably want to be consistent and I probably want to point to this one first and do something like this. And then we want to add another host. So let's click on add host and we'll click on this one.

And then we'll hit escape and then we'll drag this over and do something like that. I don't love the way that looks, but it does get the job done. You could do something like this. Maybe this is a little better. Here we go. I like that better. Okay. So then we got our floor drains stacked. That looks pretty good. Let's go ahead and tag our water closets. For these, I'm just going to move these over just like that. And sometimes it's hard to select the tags, so I'm just going to do that. We're going to go right over here. And then for the wall clean out, we'll just move this over to there. And then the floor clean out, we'll just move this over like this.

Hit escape. Our floor sink, we'll move this up. And we have one more fixture over here. Just move that in front right here. I hit escape. So this is looking pretty good. You will notice that not all the things got tagged. So we have a water heater here and we have a backflow preventer that we need to tag. So we're just going use tag by category this time. And then we're just going to hover over. And if you don't want the leader, you can always check uncheck leader line right here and just click on the element and then move the tag. We can also click on our water heater. I'm good with the tag being inside of it. And I think that's all the things that we need to tag. So this is looking good.

So now that I have all those tagged, for my overall view, I don't really want to tag all the piping. I might just do that on the drain waste vent and the water isometrics. So we won't tag the piping. So let's go to our next view. So let's start with the drain waste vent. I'm gonna double click on it. And here's an important concept, and I should have mentioned this earlier. First, you want to make sure that this fits on your sheets. So let's go ahead and go to the sheets. We'll expand this.

We'll go to P. And you can see I already have some isometric views created right here. And let's just delete these because I want to show you guys how to do this from scratch. And then let's also, let's just delete this one as well. Okay. So we want to create a new sheet and I actually didn't want to do that. But let's just do it anyway. All right. So we're going to create a new sheet called three isometrics. So I'm going to right click here and it's not letting me do anything, but I'm going to expand this and we're going get one of these sheets right here. Let's just get this one right here, two zero one. Or actually, let's get 202. We're going to right click on this and we're going to duplicate it. We're going to duplicate an empty sheet. And you'll notice it puts it under enlarged plans.

And that's because we're using a parameter value to organize this. So I have to go up here and go to view sort, and let's change this to three, and then we'll make it three dash isometric or isometric views. All right, so now it should jump down here because our browser sorting is sorting with this parameter value, which is right here. All right, and then we need to change the number so we can just click slowly, double click slowly, and then you can see we can change the number right here. So maybe we want to make this three zero one.

And then let's just name this Plumbing Isometric All. Hit Okay. And now we've created this new category of isometric views and it starts with P301 and it's a blank sheet. So this is looking great. Okay. So now we want to add the view to the sheet to make sure that it fits. And before I did all that tagging, I should have done this. So make sure next time you add your isometric to the sheet. So I'm gonna go to drag the all view in, and we're just going to click. And luckily I had the right scale already, but sometimes you don't have the right scale set.

So I'm going to double click into the view and let's just pretend we had a different scale. So not three eighths, maybe if it was like, you know, we created Typically we do a quarter inch, so I'm going to do a quarter inch. So you can see that, you know, this works, but it would be nice if I utilized all this space right here. So that's when, you know, when you first drag it onto the view, if it's too small, you can make it bigger. And then also if I double click and then let's say the scale was set to a half inch, and then you can see it's like too big.

So I'm gonna deactivate this view. I'm gonna right click and say deactivate view. And then as I hover over, I can move the view around and you can You'll notice that I just don't really have enough space to fit with this scale. So I want to use a different scale. So I'm going to double click into the view. We're going to set the scale to threeeight, and then we'll deactivate the view. We'll drag it to the middle somewhere. And I could use my arrow keys to kind of nudge this around. I like to do that a lot. And that looks pretty good.

I like this view, the setup, that looks perfect. I might want a little more space for my title, so I'm going click on it and just tab up a little bit. And then I'm just going to move my view name into it. I can move it right below it. And if I want to change the line here, I can click on my view and then we'll change this line right here. Okay. So that looks pretty good. Now, what we'd like to do is we'd like to create our other views and so, or tag our other views. So this is how I typically do it. So I start with my isometric sheet, and I'm obviously using all the systems showing.

You don't have to do it like this. But once you have one set up, it would be nice again to get it in the same spot. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to right click on this and we're going to duplicate the sheet and we're going to duplicate with views. I'm going to say duplicate. Now, I actually screwed up, but I'm glad I did because when I duplicate, you can see that none of the tags came through And I want the tags to come through. So let's undo that. And let's try this again. Let's right click, duplicate sheet, duplicate with views, because we want that view to be in the same spot. And then let's select duplicate with detailing this time. And now you can see that my tags came along.

Now you're like, Ryan, okay, we created an isometric all view and then we just made a copy of that. That doesn't help us. Well, all we have to do now is we could, remember before, we could just double click into this view and we could just change the view template to Drain Waste Vent. Hit Okay. And look at that. It just creates that Drain Waste Vent view for us on this sheet. So we probably should have done it that way, but here's another technique. So instead of just changing this, what we could do is basically Revit made a copy of this view. So if we look, you can see there's a copy here, and then there's also a copy down here. What we can do is we can swap views.

So if I click on this all view, I can now go up here and select a different view. So if we've already created the drain waste vent view right here, we can just select it from the list and Revit will automatically populate this view to this sheet, which is really nice. So that looks pretty good. And then I can click on it. Maybe I move it up a little bit, something like that.

And I can also move this title, maybe something more center, click on the view, change this right there, and we're done. So that was cool. And now what I typically do is this copy view that we created, we don't need it anymore. So I can just simply delete it. So I'm just gonna right click on it, delete, and now it's gone from my project. So that's kind of some techniques on how you can do this. And then we can rename this obviously. Let's call it plumbing isometric drain waste fat. Okay. All right, let's do that again because I know that was a lot.

So now we're going to make another copy and we could use the same view right here. We could just right click on that or we could use our isometric all, but I'm going to use this one this time. We're going to right click. We're going to duplicate the sheet with views. Then we're going to duplicate with detailing. Oh, perfect. I actually did something wrong there. I'm going to undo that. And I just realized that when we created our sanitary and water views, we didn't bring the tags with it, right? Because we didn't have anything tagged yet in our overall view.

So what we probably should have done is we should probably have duplicated after we made those tags. But there's some techniques that we can use that I'm gonna show you guys. But what we could do, I'm gonna show you two different techniques. So let's just delete this sheet. And what we could do is that, let's first do that first technique that I showed you guys. So I'm gonna right click, duplicate sheet with views, and we'll duplicate with detailing. And now we have everything tagged, right? So it's great. And then we could double click into this view and just change the view template to our drain waste vent. Hit okay.

And now we have the tags that came through, that looks great, and it's on our sheet already, that looks great. So I'm gonna right click, deactivate the view, click into it, and then we'll change the name of this to plumbing isometric drain waste fat. Oh, we can't name it that because we have a view already created. So let's just delete that view. So it's right here. We'll hit delete. And then now we can name this view, isometric drain waste vent. Okay, that looks good. All right, so that was a really easy way to do it. So basically we created our isometric all view, we got the orientation looking great, We tagged our fixtures in this view, so we got everything in there.

And then all we did is went to our sheets, we set up our isometric all, we made a duplicate of that. Let me change this name of the sheet. So I'm going to slowly click, drain waste vent. And then we made a duplicate of the isometric all, and we just double clicked into it and changed the view template right up here. So that was a really good technique and I would recommend that. But let's say we already had created the isometrics and we didn't have the tags in them. Well, I'm gonna show you another trick. All right, so this time we're going to create a copy of this. So let's just create a copy of isometric all. So I'm gonna duplicate, duplicate with views.

Let's not do detailing. We'll just do a simple duplicate so we don't have any of the tags. And let's say, okay, well, I wanna have the tags. First, we gotta swap the view. So we'll click on it. We'll swap the view up here, and we're going to use the water this time. So you can see the water plan comes into play. So that looks great. Then we have to move our title. Let's move it right here. Let's change this. That looks good. Alright. So I'm done with that, but I want to get the tags in there. Okay? So all we have to do is go back to our all view, the one we made the tags on. So here we go. We have all the tags. And then what I can do is I can select the whole area and then filter out the tags. So I'm just gonna check none, and we only want tags.

So we want tags, plumbing equipment tags, plumbing fixture tags. All right. So we have all the tags. We're gonna click Okay. And you can see they're selected, And then we can copy them to the clipboard right up here.

And then we'll go to our water view, double click into it, and I'll do it on the sheet so you guys can see this. So I'm gonna double click into my view on the sheet, and then I can simply go to Modify, Paste, Aligned to the same place. And you could see that the tags of the fixtures that are showing came through, but there's a warning right here. And what the warning is saying is, hey, there was some other tags that didn't come through like the floor clean outs, the floor drains, but that's okay because they are not showing in this view so the tags aren't gonna show up. So that's another way to get tags from one view to another.

But the important thing is you have to make sure that the view is oriented exactly the same. So you can only use this technique when you do a copy from your isometric all and then make a copy of that, okay? So it's the same orientation. All right. So that looks pretty good. We have all that. Let's change this to water. So I'm going to click slowly two times, and we'll make this dash water. Okay. All right.

So we're good to go there. And then another thing I'd like to note is if you wanted to change the name of this view, you can see that it's the same name as in our project browser, but maybe you wanted it to be different. Maybe you wanted this to say plumbing isometric water, bathroom or something, but you didn't necessarily want to change it in your project browser. If you click on the view, you can now see that there is a parameter value called title on sheet. And so I can make this anything I want, thing I want.

And you can see that what it will do is it will change the title of this view on the sheet, but it will keep your plumbing isometric water intact, okay? And so this is helpful when you're organizing your browser. You might want to do like isometric one, isometric two, isometric three, but you might not want that to show up on your sheet. So that's how you control that. I'm just going to undo that because I was fine with that before. So that's cool. But I did wanna show that to you that it doesn't necessarily have to be the same name as this. And actually, sometimes the name on the sheet wants to be the same name as your view, but then your view doesn't necessarily want to be the same name in your project browser. So that's how you do that. All right.

So the last thing we're going do is we're going to go over how to tag the piping, and it's pretty simple. So let's go to our isometric all first. I'm actually going to work on the sheet now. So I'm just going to go to my isometric views, double click three zero one, and I'm just going to start tagging some pipe. I told you guys I'm not going to tag pipe in this view, so let's start with our drain waste vent.

We'll double click into it. And then to tag piping, just go up to annotate, tag by category. And first off, you'll see that there is a tag that shows up and this is actually the right tag. But if it wasn't the right tag, we could go up to tags here and we can make sure that we have the correct tag selected. So I'm gonna actually go to piping here and uncheck electrical, and then all the things that are associated with piping show up.

I'm gonna expand this so you can see it. And then we'll just go to pipe right here, and then you could see that we have the default tag is gonna be P pipe tag rotate one dash opaque. So the rotate tag is the one that rotates along with the pipe, so that's the one we wanna use. So I'm gonna click okay here, and then you can see as I hover into different pieces of pipe, they tag accordingly, and the opaqueness is, you know, that white space that shows up. So there we go.

We're just tagging all of our pieces. I might wanna tag this piece here. I might wanna tag this piece. And that looks pretty good. Now, when you hover into your Vet, it's gonna say Versus and if you don't like that, that's okay. But if you're okay with Versus, just leave it as is. So we're gonna tag those, but we do have a different tag. So once you have your tags, you can click on a tag and then you can change it. So we're gonna go to the dropdown and I'm gonna start typing in vent And you can see we have a vent rotate tag. So if I'm gonna use the opaque one, and you can see now it changes to just V.

So if you'd rather, you know, prefer the V, just make sure you're using the vent tag. And now I can select all the other tags up here. Maybe I'll hold control and select all four of them. And then I need to filter out just the tags. I'm gonna check none. And we're gonna click pipe tags. And now that they're all selected, the Versus ones, the pipe tag rotate, we're gonna change those to the vent. So we're gonna use the vent rotate one, just like that. Now, once I have the vent rotate tags in the plan, it's really simple to do a duplicate of this. So if I click on it, I can right click, I can do create similar, and now I can just hover into the pipes I wanna tag and just tag all of these pipes just like this.

That looks great. And then if I wanna use this tag, I can right click and say create similar, and I could tag more pipes right here. Maybe I wanna tag this one just like that. Maybe I want to tag this one, you know, all this kind of stuff. Could tag this one right here. Okay. Hit escape. Now, I don't love the way the opaque tags look on this four inch sanitary piping, so I might want to use a different type of tag. So let's go ahead and delete these tags. So I'm gonna hit, I'm just gonna select them and hit delete.

You gotta be a little careful when you're selecting them. Okay, now I wanna change this tag, so I'm gonna hover into it and I wanna make this one transparent. So I'm gonna select transparent here under the pipe tag rotate. And I think that looks a lot better. And so I could even, you know, change all the tags to this transparent type. If I just click on one of them, I right click, we're gonna select all instances visible in view. Oh, we're gonna select one of these, sorry. And then right click, select all instances visible in view. And now it selects all those types of tags. And then I can simply change those by hitting the type selector and using transparent.

And you can see now I have this transparent tag, which looks a lot cleaner. And then if I want to do more of them, I can just hover into the transparent one, right click, create similar. And then I could just click into my pipes that I wanna tag. And it just looks a little cleaner. I like the way that looks.

And then I could kind of move this one down a little bit. And for the ones that don't, don't go inside the pipe, you could either use leaders or you can move, I've seen this before, you can just move the tag up here, that looks pretty good. So it's really up to you how you wanna do it, or if you really like the ones with the white or the opaque, I'm gonna change this to the opaque. Let's just change these back and you could use something like this. So it's really up to you how you wanna make your drawings look.

We have a bunch of flexibility, but also I wanna show you guys, I don't love the way these tags are looking right here. So maybe I wanna use leader tags. So if I click on one of these, I can kind of drag this out just like this. And then I'm going to add a leader. Okay. But that is not the correct tag. So I'm gonna select it again. And then we have a different tag, so we're going to hit the Type Selector. And you can see up here I have Pipe Tag Leader, no suffix. And then it automatically puts my pipe tag the correct way. I'm going to change this to Free End, And now I have the ability to move that arrow. And then I'm just going to do that. That looks good. I'm going to select this one. I hit Delete.

And remember, if they're the same size, I can literally just click on this and add a host. I can add this one. And I can just move this just like that. That looks pretty good. And then I could do the same thing for this tag over here. I just move it over. I can change it to the leader, and then I have to add the leader. And there we go. Remember, we're going to change this to free end, and then we're going to do that. Look at that. Looks pretty good. So that's another technique you can use for your tags. So we've basically tagged the sanitary, and that looks good. I think I'm satisfied with this. I'm going to right click and deactivate the view.

And now we're going to do the water. So let's double click on three zero three and we'll double click into this plan. And another thing you can do is if you want to be a little more strategic, you can actually select the pipes that you want to tag. So I'm going to select all three of these. I'm going to hold control and I'm just going to go around and select all the pipes that I might want to tag. So let's just select a bunch of these, something like this. And so we have multiple things selected. We'll select these two as well and select this one. Okay. So I have all these pipes selected.

And now what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to the annotate tab, tag all, and you can see we have this ability to tag only selected objects in current view. So since I had things selected, it automatically put this setting. And then we can just go down to pipe tags and select them. And then we can make sure we're using the correct tags so we can select instead of the transparent type, I'm gonna use the rotate opaque and click okay. And the cool thing about that is it will actually put the tag in the exact middle of the pipe, so that kind of makes things a little clean.

And then you always typically have to kind of move things around. So what I'll do is I might like move this right here, just like that. Might move this down to here, just like that. And then we'd have to move these over. You could also just kind of move these and stagger them like this. And that's just another little cool technique where you can do all tags all at once. So that's a way to do it. And you can also use leader tags like we talked about. So maybe for this situation, I wanna use leader tags. So I could just select one of these, change it to the leader, no suffix, move it out, and then we can add a leader.

And right now we have it on the arrow type. But if we want to change that, if we go to Edit Type, if we want our leaders to always be loops, we can change the leader arrowhead to a loop oneeight, hit Apply, and hit Okay. And so we have now a loop type, and I'm just going to delete this one. I'm going to use this one. We're going to create similar.

And then I'm going to select leader, and we'll select it and double click. So now we have loops. Now the only problem with the loops or the way I did that is now I've basically changed this pipe tag leader to no suffix and I've changed the type to have loops. So in my sanitary, so if I go to 302, you'll now see that my pipe tags all have loops. And maybe that's what I want, but maybe it's not what I want.

But it's good to be consistent. So if I wanted to not do that, what I could do is instead of changing the one that I had, I'm gonna undo that. And now what I can do is I can click on this tag and this one is no suffix. I'm gonna go to edit type and I'm gonna call this I'm gonna rename this no suffix dash arrow. This is my arrow one and if I duplicate that one, let's duplicate it and let's create a loop one too.

Maybe you want arrows sometimes, maybe you want loops sometimes, so we created this loop one and then we can do loop eighth an inch. And now we have two different types. So I'm going to hit delete here. We're going to create similar here, and it's my loop. And now if I go to my three zero two, you can see that this tag is now arrow because we changed it to arrow.

And then in our three zero three, we have loops. So it's really up to you guys how you wanna do it. I'm gonna right click, create similar. Remember, free end has to be on, and that'll allow us to do something like this. And if we wanted to put another one up here, we can right click, create similar, and we could do something like this. And then I can move these down. So there's lots of different ways we can tag things and maybe I could delete this piece and then we'll create similar again and we'll do something like this. You know, some people like to just use leader tags and loops. It really depends on what you guys want to do. All right, so that was it.

So we've done all the tagging we need to do. We've created all of our different isometric views and all of our different new sheets. And I think we are good to submit these drawings. Oh, the last thing we need to do is we have these vents that are going through the roof, so it's usually a good idea to label them as VTRs. Oh, we forgot a tag here, so I'm going to double click into this view. We're going to use this right here. I'm going to use this tag right here. I'm going to right click, create similar, and let's go ahead and tag the size of this pipe. You'll notice that, hey, it's not really working. That's because we have leader on.

We have to turn that off. There we go. So we'll tag it twice here. And then what I need to do is I need to create duplicate a tag up here. I'm gonna hit create similar, and this time I do want a leader. Actually, I'm just gonna throw it right here for now, hit escape, Then and we're gonna change this type to the VTR. So I'm gonna use my type selector, go to VTR, and we're gonna select VTR, and you can see it does it right here. Now you can just throw it right there if you want, but I like to put a little leader on it. I'm gonna hit leader, and we're just gonna move it out, something like that. That looks great.

If you wanna move right now, I can't kind of prevent it from hitting it because we're using attached end up here. If I want free end, that gives me the ability to move this arrow out a little bit. And now I'm just going to basically, we could just make a copy of these tags too. I could use create similar, or I could use a copy, and we could select this pipe. And then what we could do is we can go down here and select the middle of that pipe, But sometimes it doesn't work. So it's kinda good I showed you guys that. See how it's like not working? It's not picking it up. It's because it's a three d view and the orientation is just not right. So we have to right click, create similar, and then we'll hit leader.

Let's just do the same thing here. Click, double click. And if we want free end, we can use our arrow keys to kind of nudge this over. And there we go. So now we have our VTRs labeled. And if you guys wanna add text to these isometric drawings, you totally can. We can click on our text button up here. We'll use our notes. We'll use a leader. And maybe I want to put a note here. I'll say sanitary to civil. Invert negative three feet below finished floor. All right, and then we'll hit escape. And then if you click on your note or your text, you can kind of move this leader. You can also change where this leader arm is.

So I can change it to the middle. I can change it to the bottom. It's really up to you guys how you wanna do that. You can move that around. You can also extend this. You can put it in the middle. You can do right, left, anything you want. So that's kind of how we do that. I typically tend to go up here. I know not everybody does that.

And then if I wanna move it, I can use my arrow keys. And also, if you want to make like a copy of this note, you can just select it and you can hold shift or hold control, and you can make another note. And the reason I like doing this is because it keeps this leader arm the same orientation as this one, which is kind of cool. And then we could say something else below floor. Obviously, don't need this note, but I just wanted to show you that technique that if you just hold control, you can make copies of these notes, and then you can move that to anywhere you want. So it's a nice way to do it. You could also just use the Copy command up here. I just like holding Control. It's a little faster. All right, so that's kinda cool.

Let's just delete that note. And yeah, so this is looking good, And so I think we're done. We're ready to submit this set of construction documents to the reviewers, and we'll get this building built. All right. I'll see you guys.
