And now we need to add our pipe connectors. So same deal. You can reference the PDF to get guidance on what the setting should be, but we will go create. We will go pipe connector, and you just mouse over there. Set that one.

Set that one. And then you can select both of them, set the diameter because it's gonna be the same to water coil diameter. And for the bottom one, we said this one is so this one was gonna be supply to our supplies. We choose hydronic supply. And supply going into a coil is in, and the flow configuration this is essentially this this is essentially the term the the terminus of the loop, so that's gonna be preset.

We're gonna say, you know, you're gonna type in what if you go to this level with Rev, you're gonna type in this coil is 30 GPM or whatever. And then we're gonna create a flow for this, and we're gonna call this chill water flow, not supply, not return, just flow. It's gonna be instance. K. And then we're gonna give the connector description, chilled water supply. K. That is that. And then flow configuration preset. Return at a coil. The flow is going out.

The system classification is return. The flow is chilled water flow, and the connector description is chilled water. Return. Alright. Let's test this out in our project. Alright. The easiest version is current values. Alright. So there we go. We see our our connector sticking out here, and we can right click, draw a pipe.

And if you haven't done any modeling in three d, just a few kind of points about how it works. If you see the dash blue line, that's that's indicating a 90 degree angle. So that's that's kind of helpful for me. So I'm model it there. And it guessed hot water supply. So I just set this back over to chilled water or return rather. So I'd set that to chilled water. Let's do the same here. Drop pipe. Chilled water supply.

Okay. And let's let's let's check and, like, make sure that my flow parameter is working. So if I come here and I say that the chill water flow is 33 GPM, and I click this bit of pipe, it should say 33 GPM, and it does. So I must have done something right. Cool. There's another thing here that I'd like to demonstrate, which is why we called why we named the why we named the connector. Let's see if I can get Revit to do the thing. So I had to delete those piping connections. I'm gonna go to a roof plan. Let's say here.

So we're looking down at it. Those duct connectors are or pipe connectors rather are right on top of each other. It's not actually obvious which one I wanna connect to if I just right click and say draw a pipe. So it's gonna say, hey. Which one do you mean? And it's just nice that I told it it's chilled water supply. Right? Because this is coming from that utility connect that connector description field that I typed in. And I could have figured it out because it said hydronic supply, hydronic return, but in a complicated family, it's nice to your users to know who's gonna use that equipment, including yourself, to give it a nice descriptor. So that's that is pretty much the reason to to do that.

And Ryan's plumbing families, I think it's even it's even more important because that gets complicated. So so that's what that is for.
