In this video series, I'm going to show what you need to do to set up an internal ACC environment so that within your own firm, your staff can access a cloud hosted model, a model that's cloud hosted on ACC, and collaborate on it. This is great for teams that are remote or lots of work from home types of situation. You don't have to deal with server access and VPN and all sorts of other stuff. It is what, we here at Rev X use to collaborate on all of our assets. So everyone who is to be working on the models will need a Revit license, of course, and each member will also need a BIM Collaborate pro license, which is about a grand a year.
You do need the BIM Collaborate pro license, not the BIM Collaborate process. Okay. And then one person who does have a BIM Collaborate pro license needs to set up a hub. And so go to a new tab. Go to manage,uh,.autodesk.com. Come up to products and services tab, and there's a tab for hubs. And then you will say create hub and follow the on screen prompts. It's pretty simple. You can see I've already created a hub. This is the Rev X hub that I've already gone through and created.
And so to access this hub, you come to this and you just click there. And this is the the ACC account administration panel. This is where you can set up new projects and everything else.
