Opening and Working in a Revit Model on ACC

Okay. In this model, I'm going to open my MEP model that lives on the cloud, on the ACC cloud, and I'm going to repath the links to, the architectural and structural model. So to open an ACC model, you open a Previt. It'll come to this screen. Select Autodesk Docs here on the left, and then choose the project you want access to, RevEx.
Just a note about this list. This list is only going to show twenty twenty three projects. If I had opened up twenty twenty four, this list would only show projects that are in Revit 2024. So if you don't see a project in here, it might be good because the project is for a different version of Revit or either that or you don't have permission set correctly. At any rate, I do see my projects, project 42.
So I select it. Gonna go to project files, and I see my model here. Just a quick note, to publish the model, publish means something slightly different than when you save, but I can come over here and say publish latest. There's no latest model at at the moment, but if there was, that's what I would click. So that pushes it up to, docs, and that allows, like, on the browser viewer to update, what people see there on the three d viewer, which we'll do another video on.
And then also, you would be able to see the version history. There's only one version here, but every time you sync, it will create a another version. So we have a long list. So if you ever make any, any mistakes or you need to walk back, some synchronized changes with your model, you can, select an older version. So let me go back here. So to open it, I just click it. And here I am. I am in my model. I can work and do things in it. And to save, I just come to collaborate, synchronize with central, and synchronize now.
Okay. So that's how you sync. Now we've got to repath the link, so I just wanted to show that. So here on our on our starter view, I'm not gonna go through the full model setup process. For the rest of the model setup process, it is exactly the same as my new model setup, series, but we will come and show repacking the links.
So come to the manage tab, go to manage links, and we've got here our architectural placeholder link. So you come down to reload from. And since this model knows it's on ACC already, it's going to give you options relevant to that project environment. So here we see it's looking in RevEx project 42 under this Autodesk docs. That's that's how it looks. So just drill into project files and then links and select the architectural model. Hit open. There it is. I'll do the same for the structural link. And there we go.
We can see them. So you can follow the rest of the model setup procedure, from here. And, again, you know, sync with central. And that's all there is to it except the final step. Of course, at this moment, I haven't invited anyone else to this project. When you create a new project, it doesn't automatically invite other people in your team. So I have to go do that, which is what I will do in the next video.
