Okay. So let's say you need to adjust, some of the conduits or at a trade sides trade size. You can actually do that by going up here to MEP setting under electrical settings. There is a cable here. There's conduit setting. So conduit setting, the size should have everything you need in here, but let's say you're using, I don't know, six inch conduit. Yeah. You know what? Any any of these, they they all actually go up to a four inch. So let's say you need to you know, here's a here's a six inch.
Okay. So let's say you have a six inch conduit and you didn't have it in here, you could just add it. You can also adjust the minimum bend radius. So this is what the software will limit you to. So you see how, like, in here, if I were to click on a fitting, I can adjust this bend radius. So 10 foot, eleven sixty, I believe that's the minimum. So I can always go bigger. If I hit apply, it go it goes bigger. But if I try to go with the something smaller, it will throw an error. So that's really nice to make sure that you are going by the NEC.
Make sure that, you know, chapter nine, it it's applied properly here. Then you just have to think about it once, and Revit will keep track of it for you. That's also assuming that you picked the right material too. So, obviously, the RNC standard has a different bend radius than, say, like, PVC or something. So if I were to come back in here under size, you'll see that we have different materials, and then you can list the trade size, inner diameter, outer diameter, bend radius. And if you wanna just take something completely off a list, you can do that too. Like, let's say you're you don't wanna allow half inch conduit. Okay? Just hit okay. And then when you go to draw your conduit, you will not be able to pick a half inch size.
It'll well, actually, hold on. What did I do? C n. I I probably deleted the one off the the wrong size. Was it EMT? One of them. Yeah. It was EMT that I took off the half inch. So then it becomes unavailable for you to draw with. And there's other settings that you can change in here too.
So under the the rise and drop here, the rise symbol is just an outline, drop symbol is filled. Obviously, you can change that as well. The difference between single line and two line symbology is the detail level. So if I were to go here so right now, this is the two line symbology, but if if I were to change this from a fine to a medium, that's when it drops down to single, and you can see the the change happens here. Let me undo.
So here's here's the two line symbology and the single line symbology, And you can change that in your settings as well. And then same thing for, cable tray. Cable tray settings were also buried in here as well. So electrical settings, go up here, you see cable tray also has a a couple parameters that you can adjust. So, like, even the separator.
Right now, I think if I go down to systems, it'll say, like, 12 by six. If I were to change the cable tray settings, you know, let's say you wanted to use the word buy, you could do that too. Oh, space. You need to include some space in there. But yeah. So that's where you can change it if you wanted to.
