Alright. So for single line diagrams, your line weights are actually controlled by object style or any of these, you know, clustered symbols, and then the line that you can draw, the detail line, that is controlled by a different parameter. So I'll show you both, and that way you can make sure that they're both using the same line weight. Alright. So if let's say you have a breaker or a panel board that you wanna control the line with.
You wanna go ahead and open up the manage tab and go over here to object styles. And then from object styles, you wanna go under annotation objects, and then under detail, generic annotation. Here it is. So under it went too far. So under generic annotations, you'll see that we have SL for demo, existing, and new.
So if you wanna change any of this, like, example, new, maybe you wanna drop this width down from a five to a three. So you can go ahead and click on three, and then we're gonna hit okay, and it's gonna drop all of the line weights of the family itself down to a level three. But you'll notice that this detail line did not change, and that's because that's affected by a different setting. So to change this line weight, you wanna go up here to manage, go to additional settings, and then go to line styles. So from line styles, you'll want to expand this, and then this is under SLD new, so right here.
So this one, you can drop this down to, let's say, a number three, hit Okay, and then you can see how that now fix it that now updates the the detail line. Alright? So anything that you need to draw with the annotate the detail line. If you need to draw in here, this is controlled by the line styles over here. Anything else that's, like, in a grouping, that's, like, for a circuit breaker or panel board, that would be under your object styles.
And then you can also, obviously, you know, click on here and then just type in demo. That pulls up your single line demo line, or you can hit new or existing. Say, it pulls it up pretty quickly under generic annotation. And there you go. That way you can customize this a little bit to how you want to. I personally like it thicker, so I would leave it at, you know, line weight five. But if you want it thinner, it's up to you. You can change it just like that.
