Hey. Welcome to Rev X Electrical production. My name is John Chan, and I'm gonna be your guide through this course. This course is designed to be extremely interactive. There's a model provided for you, and you can set that up in Rev X twenty twenty three. As you're watching the video, I want you to go through the exercise yourself in order to help you learn it. The best way to practice Revit is just to do it over and over. Getting the repetition in helps you retain that information so that the next time you do it, you it's like riding a bike. So you wanna be able to just kinda know intuitively where things are and how they work as you're doing your design. You don't wanna have to, like, learn your tools every time you use it.
Get the reps in, practice on this model over and over again, and, hopefully, by the end of it, you'll start to be very comfortable with Revit. So when you jump into a project, you have the confidence to navigate Revit and use it effectively. This course is about a week long if you want to, you know, do a couple hours every day, but you probably get through it in a day or two if you just did it straight through. So it depends on how you wanna learn it, but make sure you use the model, save your progress, and just keep coming back and going through the reps. I'm excited to get started.
