Alright. Let's say you have to make a bend in a set of conduits. Honestly, the best way without a plug in is to delete them except for the last run. So what I'm saying is if you have two sets of conduit, click, you know, hover over one section, press tab so that you can select it all. Left click, and then press the delete key on your keyboard or right click and delete.
Now you just have to make the change to one set of conduit and then parallel them. So let's say here, for some reason, I want to, let's say, drop this down here, but I wanna bend it up and over. It's not really a great scenario because you're adding too many bends, but let's just say you have to do that. So what we wanna do is come up here to the split element. We're gonna click that, and then I'm gonna split the element here and here.
And then if I select these couplings and delete them, it allows me to move this up and down. So let's say I wanna bring it up here, and then I'm going to go back to systems, conduit, and then I'm going to connect them. Let's see. So I dragged it down, and I'm this conduit into that one. There we go.
Same thing, conduit. Go from top to bottom. And I think sometimes if you you have to escape and then just make them butt into each other, and there we go. So now that we have this odd shape drawn out, kinda bugs me that it's slightly off. I'm going to also make sure that the height is at something reasonable. So I'm gonna select both of them. Let's do a nice round number. I think, well, twelve foot six. Let's do that. Okay.
Twelve foot six. And then this one bottom, let's do 16. Okay. So now that I have the shape revised to how I want it, I'm going to parallel the conduit, Go on the north side. Press tab. And then it'll say, alright. The bend radius of creating the conduits will be too small. What do you wanna do? Use the minimum bend radius. Let's cancel that.
So the thing that is kind of parallel conduit, if I were to so when you draw a conduit, you could see how I have the bend radius set at 10 inches and ten and three quarter inches. That is not the minimum bend radius. The minimum bend radius is defined by the diameter of this conduit. So we can actually end up using that if we wanted to. So I wanna parallel it.
Go like this. Use the minimum, and now it matches it just right. And it'll run all the way from end to end. Gonna click click and then use the keyboard to kinda center that. Again, coming back over here, click control and then click again, and then right arrow. And there we go. And there's your conduit run. I I would never support this. I would just raise it up high and just run it across. But hypothetically, if you had to do it, this is how you would do it.
Let's also just check the three d view. That's the cable tray and there's your conduit run. Looks very unique. It actually would exceed the maximum bend radius of your conduit run, but there's should be a pull box somewhere then.
