Alright. Let's go ahead and place a fire alarm panel device and smoke detectors. Alright. So let's start off with let's say I wanna put a fire alarm panel out here. So we would go up here to the systems tab, go up here to devices, and click on fire alarm. Oh, there we go. Okay. So the control panel is perfect. So that's exactly what I want. Let's do the front clearance because I don't know which way is forward.
Okay. So this is the front of the panel. So I just placed it because if you I don't know if you saw, but if I try to place it before here. Let's try to replicate that instance. So when I click the checkbox for front clearance, it doesn't pop up with the front clearance right away. It gets kind of a Revit glitch here. It'll pop up the second you place it. So that's why I had to figure out which side is front facing. Alright. So this is the front of the panel, and I wanna align the back of the panel with the wall.
And we can simply just go over here to modify with the align tool. Click the wall in the panel, and there we go. And let's go ahead and I'm I'm gonna turn off the front clearance for a bit. I'm also going to tag it. So I'm gonna annotate, tag by category, and then I'm going to check the the tag is the fire alarm device. I actually wanna switch this over to control panel. Alright. And then with that now at the control panel, I can click on this and type in FACP. So there we go. And then I'm going to click on the panel again, and I'm gonna power it up.
So we're gonna do yeah. 120 is fine, and it picked RP1A. Yeah. Sure. That's well, let's do RP1. Let's do this. Yeah. I want this panel because it's on this side of the room. So we're going to select panel and just change it to that one. Okay. So now we can go ahead and draw a wire out of it. So I'm gonna go to systems, wire, and then I'm going to just kinda oops. Alright. That's that's fine. But you know what?
I like I like the I like the arc wire. Okay. So if I drag this out here a bit let's see. We're going to make that a bit prettier. Okay. Cool. So actually, let me kind of point down that way. Panels that way. Okay. So now that it's pointing in the right direction, I'm going to annotate this. And there we go. Okay. So it's going to Panel R P 1 B Circuit 1. Alright. So there's our fire alarm control panel, and then now let's go ahead and place some fire alarm devices.
