Single Line Diagram Intro

Alright. So in this module, we are going to go over how to create a single line diagram or one line diagram in Revit. It's one of the most important deliverables of electrical design, so we wanna make sure that it's done correctly and more efficiently. So there's three ways to do it. One, you can start from scratch in Revit and do all of your single line diagram drawing in Revit.

This has a bit of a learning curve, and most people are not accustomed to this. And the second option is to continue working in CAD, which most people already do. And you can take that drawing, link it into Revit, place them on a sheet, and just print it from there. So all you do in the future when you wanna make a change is you update the CAD file, update the link in Revit, and then print from there. And then the third option is to take the CAD file, import it into Revit once, and then do the rest of your changes inside of Revit. So we're gonna go over all three options, and you decide which one you wanna use.
